Ms. Lynda Fahy Rayburn

Lynda, a beacon of love and strength, departed from this world on April 23, 2024, in Conway, SC, leaving a legacy adorned with threads of memories, crocheted with care and affection. Born on April 22, 1963, she graced the lives of many with her gentle spirit and unwavering love.

Survived by her devoted significant other of 14 years, Jim Flewellen; supportive son, Michael James and daughter, Sasha James; caring daughter-in-law, Kyle James; and loving son in law, Graham Broderson; devoted grandson James Hagerl; and her cherished parents, Roger and Mary Rayburn and sister Andrea Surma and family. She is preceded in death by her mother Roberta Cotter. She will forever remain in their hearts.

Born in Cortland, NY her journey led her to Marquette, MI, where she began her adult life and welcomed her children, Michael and Sasha, into the embrace of her love. Later, she moved to Hot Springs, AK where she nurtured her relationships and tended to her blossoming passions.

Lynda found solace and joy in the melody of music, a passion that echoed throughout her life. Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue a master's degree in criminal justice and behavioral science, a testament to her intellect and dedication to understanding the complexities of the world.

Lynda's love for the Earth extended beyond her home, as she found peace and inspiration in her gardens, where every flower and plant were a product of her nurturing spirit. Her adventurous soul led her to explore the world through traveling, collecting memories like precious treasures along the way.

In honor of her memory, a small service will be held in Conway, SC, where she will be cremated, surrounded by the love of those who held her dear. Though she has embarked on her final journey, her spirit will forever bloom in the hearts of those who were touched by her grace. Rest in peace, Lynda, your legacy of love and light will endure.
