Willie Lee Williams (AKA Superstar/Chill Will) the son of the late Gabby Grier and Zella Mae
Bellamy Williams was born on September 7, 1971. He departed this life on April 19, 2024 at his
home.
 
Willie was educated in the public schools of Horry county and was a 1990 graduate of Conway
High School.
 
He grew up in Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church during his youth and attended other
churches in the community over the years.
 
Willie was employed with Southeastern Paper Group for many years as a faithful employee until
his health declined and he was unable to work.
 
Growing up he met his high school sweetheart, Violette Rogers and they were married on July 8,
2002. This union was blessed with four children.
 
Willie leaves to cherish precious memories, his loving and devoted wife, Violette Williams of
Bucksport, SC. Three sons: Darren Rogers, Michael Williams, and Dorian Williams all of
Bucksport, SC; Three daughters: Shekena Williams, and Shania Doctor of Bucksport, SC,
Ashira Williams of Conway, SC. Eleven grandchildren.
Four sisters: Toni (Jerome) Harris of New Haven, CT; Jennifer (Russell) Vanderhorst of
Charleston, SC; Gail (Gregory) Floyd of Toddsville, SC, and Tammy (Eric) Johnson of Marion,
SC. Five brothers: Will Mills of Kenya, Africa; Michael Grier of Plantersville, SC, Marvin
(Latoya) Grier of Hartsville, SC; James Tony Bellamy of Atlanta, GA; and Michael Anthony
Williams of Bucksport, SC. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Kristen Jatelle Williams.
