Corrine Richardson Obituary

Mrs. Corrine Sizer Richardson passed away on May 1, 2019 in Albany, Georgia. She was born on May 5, 1937 in Williamston, SC to Albert(deceased) & Lillie Mae(deceased) Sizer. She was the 3rd oldest of 12 children born unto this union. She went to school in Williamston, SC. She was actively involved in the church and at the age of 12, accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior during a Summer Revival at Bethel A.M.E. Church where John W. Buddin, Sr was the pastor

After completing post-secondary school at Voorhees College, she moved to Horry County where she met her loving husband, William C. Richardson, Sr. They married in 1958 and unto this union, 4 children were born. Thelia (deceased), D’Artagon Pierre, Tina V., and William Curtis Jr. In 1990, after 32 years of marriage, William C. Richardson, Sr went home to be with the Lord. 

She worked in the school system of Horry County, Waccamaw EOC, Horry County Social Security office, and lastly as a Nurses aide in Conway Nursing Home. She was actively involved in the church. She was a part of the Missionary Ministry, Greeter Committee, and really enjoyed the nursery/Day Care Ministry while a member at Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived and missed by her 3 children: Pierre {Jackie} Richardson, Tina {Dale} Wright and Curtis {Tamika} Richardson, her  7 grandchildren: Rick, D’Artagon II, Damon, Adam, Marymegan, Carrigan & Kennedy, and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
