Seventy eight years ago, Catherine Clark and Freddie Lee Cromartie, Sr. gave birth to Freddie Lee Cromartie, Jr. AKA( Pop) January 31, 1942. Freddie Jr. was born and raised in Lumberton North Carolina, along with two siblings; Nicholas Cromartie, and Betty Floyd. In his formative years Freddie Jr. (Pop) attended schools of Robison County, where he received his formal education. Freddie Jr. made a living by working several different jobs. His main work was forklift driver for a warehouse company in Lumberton N.C. He moved to Myrtle Beach to be closer to his children. He also met his best friend at the beach Mr. Robert McNair . They spent most of their time together laughing and telling jokes. Freddie Jr. was the father of five children; Gwendolyn Sinclair of Burgess, SC, Eddie Lee Cromartie of Burgess, SC., Edward" BayBay" Cromaritie (Stephanie) of Georgetown, SC., Antonio Sinclair( Bam) of Burgess and Shirley Lewis of Lumberton, North Carolina. "Pop" will be genuinely missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Services for the Mr. Freddie Lee Cromartie, Jr. age 77, of the Myrtle Beach section of Horry County, will held at McKiever Funeral Home Chapel-Conway, Friday, March 22, 2019 at 11:00AM.
