Harold Mack Duncan

Harold Mack Duncan, son of Josephine Joyner Duncan and the late Harry James "Mack" Duncan was born on June 13, 1970 in Brooklyn, NY. He was preceded in death by his father and son, Hakeem Terrance Duncan.

Harold attended New York City Public Schools. Upon completion of high school, he worked for various establishments in New York prior to moving to Conway, SC where he first worked as a custodian for Coastal Carolina College and then the Horry County Public School system.

Harold loved traveling, playing spades, talking sports and grilling outdoors. He enjoyed sitting out on his deck speaking on the phone with family and friends. Harold was an avid Chicago Bulls fan. He admired everything about the team, especially that the bulls wore his favorite color, red.  

Harold Mack leaves his memories to be cherished by his loving mother, Josephine Duncan of Denmark, SC; two sons: Calvin Wright of Enfield, NC and Hy'Zell Mack Bonny Duncan of Conway, SC; one grandson: Zacharias Caleb Gause of Conway, SC; four sisters: Tracey Lott-Davis (Darrow) of Monroe NC, Kathy Polight (Eric) of Brooklyn, NY, Sandra Williams of Colonial Heights, VA and Denise Holmes of Georgetown, SC; four brothers: Sylvester Joyner (Donche) of Newark, NJ, Gregg Duncan (Shana) of Bucksport, SC, Russell McCray (Gail) of Columbia, SC and Richard Thomas (Amy) of Conway, SC; special childhood friends: Shannon Griffith (Sandra) and Ferris Bailey. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other sorrowing relatives and friends. 

Funeral Services for Mr. Duncan will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  The services will be held at the McKiever Funeral Home Chapel located at 1408 Race Path Avenue,  Conway SC. Mr. Duncan will be laid to rest at the Duncan Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at McKiever Funeral Home.
