Annette Gore Carle, aged 84, passed away peacefully on September 8th, 2023, in her Conway, SC residence after a brief illness.
Born on September 1st, 1939, in Loris, SC, Annette was the cherished child of Burnis and Annabelle Gore. Her early years were filled with joy as she grew up on their family farm alongside her beloved siblings, Helen, Roe, and Cheryl. As a young adult, Annette's adventurous spirit led her to reside in bustling cities like DC, Chicago, and Nassau, where she embarked on countless remarkable journeys. It was in Nassau that fate brought her together with Glenn Carle, her future husband. They eventually made their home in Reno, Nevada, where they had their three children.
At the age of 36, Annette's life took a profound turn when she experienced a life-altering car accident, leading her to embrace Christianity. This transformation became the cornerstone of her existence, and she cherished her unwavering relationship with Jesus for the remainder of her days. She found purpose in participating in mission trips and dedicating her time to various countries, including the Philippines, China, Colombia, Brazil, and Nicaragua. Annette also traveled extensively and ministered under Shiloh Place Ministries.
Her deepest desire was to witness the return of Jesus, a hope that now unites her with family and friends who eagerly await that day. Annette leaves behind a legacy carried on by her children: Scott Carle and his wife Zsanic, Byron Carle and his wife Jessica, and her daughter Nancy Carle. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Wyeth, Kaylin, and Kyra, along with her adopted granddaughter, Donna. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Cheryl McDaniel, and her husband, Vernon. Annette took great joy in connecting with her extended family, including nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, and the newest additions to the family, her great-great-nephew and great-great-niece.
