On September 23, 2022, our beloved Beverly Lynn Randall, affectionately called by her middle name Lynn, ascended to her heavenly home.
Lynn was born in Conway, South Carolina on January 14, 1963 to the late Pri nee and Mary Ethel Randall. She was the youngest of four children. In the late 1960s she moved with her family to Washington, DC. As a young child, she attended New Southern Rock Baptist Church along with her parents and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and continued to maintain her strong relationship with the Lord throughout her life.
Lynn attended the District of Columbia Public Schools and graduated from H.D. Woodson Senior High School. She later received her Associates of Arts Degree from Carver Bible College in Atlanta, GA.
Health care was her passion. In 1990, she moved to Sacramento, CA and worked for Kaiser Permanante. In 1993 she relocated to Atlanta, GA where she continued her career in the health care field, working at South Fulton Medical Center. Lynn joined Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta where she served in the Health Ministry.
In 2009 Lynn moved back to the Washington, D.C. area eventually settling in Owings Mills, MD. She joined Reid Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as a member of the Greeter’s Ministry enthusiastically welcoming all with a warm smile as they entered the sanctuary.
Lynn was employed at St. Joseph Medical Center and then the University of Maryland Medical System as a staffing coordinator. She also worked part-time as an on-call coordinator helping to staff nurse aides for clients.
Lynn loved to travel. She traveled with family to Myrtle Beach, Charleston and Hilton Head. She went abroad to the Caribbean, Canada, Paris, Russia, Germany, Denmark and Finland. She especially enjoyed traveling with family friend Mary Gaither.
Lynn enjoyed watching football with her family and was a huge fan of the Washington Commanders… unless they were losing… then she would adopt the Baltimore Ravens as her team.
Lynn loved her nieces and nephews as though they were her children, never missing a birthday or special event and making sure that their every need was met.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Prince and Mary Ethel Randall. She leaves to cherish all of her loving memories her siblings: Audrey Jefferson (Booker) of Lanham, MD, Prince Randall (Wanda) of Baltimore, MD and Claudette Mills (Ralph III) of Washington, DC; nieces and nephews, Adriana “Miki” Deloustal, Kourtney Jefferson, Ralph Mills IV (Stacie), Tyrone Jefferson, Latia Mills and Sean Randall; great nephews, Riker and Rhys Deloustal; great niece and goddaughter, Savannah Mills and great niece
