CeAnn (McCray) Spivey

Sister Ceann McCray -Spivey transitioned from labor to eternal rest on Wednesday, August 3 rd ,
2022 surrounded by family at Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Ceann was born on June 5, 1966 to the Late Isiah & Fronie Mae McCray in Conway, SC. She
was the second child of four born to this union.
Ceann received her education in the Horry County public school system of Conway, SC and
took up classes at Horry Georgetown Technical College where she found her passion of taking
care of others. Ceann received her CNA certificate and worked as a CNA for several of years.
Ceann moved to Myrtle Beach, SC where she raised her daughters and attended Sandy Grove
Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. Fred Johnson/ Pastor Shawn L
Johnson. Sister Ceann was very active in her church and participated on the usher board.
Ceann was well-loved in her community, always willing to open her doors to help others, loved
playing bingo and raising her dogs (CoCo Chanel & Blondie Rose).
God called his daughter Ceann to be home with him. We bow in humble submission to the
Master call.
