Mr. Earl "P" Preston Wilson, AKA "The Mayor of Sugar Hill", the son of the late Ralph and Roberta Wilson, was born January 16, 1956 in Conway, South Carolina. He departed this life on October 1, 2020 at home. He was educated in Horry County public schools, attending Whittemore High School, and graduating from Conway High School, Class of 1975. He then spent four years in the United States Army.
Earl was blessed with a former spouse, Pamela J. Nero and three loving children: Onicki D. Whittington, Earl P. Wilson, Jr., and Latonya D. Green (Sharone), ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by his sister Margaret. He also leaves to mourn, his siblings: Lynette (Richard), Virginia (Andrew), Ralph, Willie, Leon (Gloria), Howard, John, Angela Jean Singleton, Helen Felder and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
