Elizabeth Hamilton Obituary

Elizabeth Williams Hamilton, affectionately known as “Boy,” was born on November 2, 1949, in Mullins, South Carolina. She peacefully departed this earthly life on Monday, June 2, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Johnny Williams; her daughter, Sierria; her sisters, Katie Brown and Ella Mae Brown; and her brother, Curtis Davis.

Elizabeth attended the public schools of Mullins, South Carolina. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a dedicated member of Miracle Temple, where she served faithfully as a missionary and Sunday School teacher. A strong leader in the church, she also shared her love through her cooking.

After relocating to Conway, South Carolina, Elizabeth became a devoted member of Anointed Word of God Ministries, where she continued to serve faithfully.

She leaves to cherish her memory four children: Pamela (John) Nance, Rico (Jordan) Hamilton, and Angelina Hamilton, all of Conway, SC, and Missy Lewis of Virginia; her sisters, Annie Mae (Wayne) Farmer and Sylvia Blue, both of Mullins, SC; and her brothers, Cleveland (Margurite) Williams of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Daniel Lloyd of Mullins, SC.

She was the proud grandmother of fifteen grandchildren: SaKeria (Rodney) Robinson, JaKeima Nance, Tyleek Nance, Drekup Murray, all of Conway, SC; Rico Hamilton, Jr., Tyree (Kate) Hamilton, and Jamisha Hamilton of Virginia; Kyrell, Jeremiah, Narissa, Marshawn, ToKola, Dougal, Christopher, Traci Adamsand Simone. She also leaves behind fourteen great-grandchildren; four special nephews: Timothy Williams, Keith Jarrell, Cleveland Williams, Jr., and Lonnie Murphy, Jr.; a special son, Cleveland Murphy; her mother-in-law, Ella Mae Hamilton of Mullins, SC; brother-in-law, Ernest Brown, Sr., of Marion, SC; sisters-in-law Medina Davis of Marion and Geraldine Tisdale; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Elizabeth was known for her love of cooking, her sense of humor, and her infectious laughter. She was a powerful woman of God, passionate about teaching His word and devoted to prayer. She had a generous heart, always ready to help and show love to those around her.

She will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love, strength, and faith will live on in all who knew her.
