Felix Elmore Moore was born March 12, 1937 to the late Thurman Moore and Nina L. Moore. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at his home.
At an early age, Felix accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and became a member of Popular A.M.E. Church in Longs, S.C.
He attended Chestnut Consolidated High School where he played basketball. Mr. Felix worked many ears at Grove Manufactory Company in Conway, SC. He was also employed with the Dry Cleaners of North Myrtle Beach and the City of North Myrtle Beach from which he retired. Mr. Felix's favorite hobby was landscaping, and he had a love for classic cars.
On February 29, 1972, Felix Moore was joined in holy matrimony to Mary Alice Slade Moore, and to this union, four children were born. He was precede in death by his wife, Mary Alice; a son, Craig Moore; brother, Thomas C. (Eleanor) Moore; sisters, Mary Lee Green, Alene (Mitchell) Livingston, and Bay Pearl (Vance) Ford.
He leaves behind to mourn and cherish his loving memories, three daughters: Sheila Taylor (Donald), LaTonya Moore (Marc), Cassandra Johnson (Leon-deceased); four granddaughters: LaBrasha Moore, Janay Taylor, Zaria Johnson, Georgia Willard, four grandsons: Donald Taylor, Jr., Kendric Taylor, Desmond Moore, Zavian Johnson; two great-granddaugthers: MaKenzie Taylor, Astrid Taylor; three great grandsons: Karson Taylor, Mason Taylor, Micah Taylor; brother, Thomas Lee Bellamy, brother-in-law, Sidney Green; Companion and Caregiver: Gwendolyn Gerald; sisters-in-law: Sarah Gause, Annie Daniels, Dorothy Frink and Wilhelmina Hewett and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
