George Engle, Jr.

George Engle, Jr. was born on July 26, 1935 in Bishopville, South Carolina to Rachel Engle and George Dizzle, Sr. He departed this life peacefully on November 25, 2023 at his son’s home.

George was educated in the Moore County School System of North Carolina. George spent his earlier years in Maxton, North Carolina. George spent part of his life in the environmental services industry working at Myrtle Beach High School.

George loved the beach and spending time with the people that he loved. Always celebrating with family and keeping the crowd going.

George leaves to cherish fond memories of his children; Brenda Smith of Southern Pines, North Carolina, Mitchell Smith of Jersey City, New Jersey, Dr. Jamie (April) Graham of Columbia, South Carolina, Corey (Lessa) Graham of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Jocelyn Graham of Charlotte, North Carolina. Grandchildren; Tifini Mann of Hoffman, North Carolina, Tanecha Hainesworth of Southern Pines, North Carolina, Alaysia and Layla Graham of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Hartley Allen of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Great Grandchildren; Tyvon Mann of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Messiah Hainesworth of Southern Pines, North Carolina. Along with cousins, extended family, and community friends.
