Georgia Mae Holmes

On Thursday September 1, 2022, Georgia Mae Holmes departed from her earthly life at Grand Strand Medical Center, surrounded by all of her children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Edison and Leona Holmes; sister, Mertice Rose and grand-daughter, Jaleayah Davis.

Georgia leaves to cherish in loving memories her sons: Jerome Davis of Sumter SC, Marvin Davis (Rhonda) of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughters: Shirl Holmes of the home, Tanya Holmes of Myrtle Beach, SC; nine grand-children and eight great grand-children; brothers: Joseph Holmes of Schenectady NY; Melvin Holmes of Troy, NY; Stepsister: Loretta Bethea of Murrells Inlet, SC, sister: Peggy Holmes Hairston (Lamont) of Wilmington, NC; brother: Roger Holmes of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister: Marlene Zanders of Myrtle Beach, SC; one aunt: Betty Jo Holmes of Myrtle Beach, SC; two special cousins: Eula Mae Rutledge and Carolyn Surrett of Myrtle Beach, SC; and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
