James Levine Gause, Jr

Funeral Services for Mr. James ( Jamie) Gause will be Wednesday December 12, 2018 at the McKiever Funeral Home Chapel,-Conway.  The service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., burial will follow in the Owens Family Cemetery- Bucksport, SC. 

Jamie was born in Aschaffenfurg, Germany on June 15, 1981 to Rosa( Brenda) Beckman Gause and the late James Levine Gause, Sr. ( Billy).  Seventeen months after Jamie's birth the family returned to Fort Dix, New Jersey from a three year military tour.  Jamie began elementary school in Fort Dix, New Jersey and a six month lay-over at Conway Elementary.  When he was eleven years old, the family was reassigned to Karlsruhe, Germany where Jamie completed elementary school and began middle school.  After that three year tour, the family returned to Fort Jackson, Columbia, SC; where he completed middle school at Dent and E.L. Wright.  He completed his education at Spring Valley High School.  

Upon completing high school Jamie was trained in carpentry and worked as a journeyman and foreman with his father at Gause Siding and Window Company in Columbia, SC. He later worked with several other construction companies in and around the southeast United States after the death of his father in late 2013.

He leaves to cherish fond memories, a loving mother, Rosa( Brenda) Beckman Gause, one grandmother Edna Gause;  two sisters, Monica Denise and Nyesha Helena Gause, one son, one nephew, one niece, and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins, along with other relatives, friends, and acquaintances.
