Jennifer "Annette" Johnson passed away unexpectedly on May 7th, 2022, at the age of 44, after complications from pneumonia. Born to Fred and Nina Johnson (both deceased) on September 11, 1977, Jennifer was born with Cerebral Palsy and had health issues all her life. Jennifer attended Conway School systems and received a certificate from Conway High school. As an adult Jennifer attended the Adult Day Center in Conway. Jennifer was baptized at an early age as a member of St. John Church of God in Sandridge, SC. Later, Bishop Nina Johnson married Walker Johnson and founded a church in Bucksville, SC., St. James Church of God and began their memberships there. When she was young and attending Church with her mother, she immediately became obsessed with playing the tambourine and the washboard during services and never hesitated to jump up and sing a song when asked. Jennifer was an avid church attendee.
Only a moment you stayed, but what an imprint your footprints have left on our hearts.”
—Dorothy Ferguson
After Elder Nina Johnson passed, Jennifer began living with her Aunt Mae in Bucksport, SC. Some of Jenn’s favorite activities were word searches and playing on an iPad. Our family was not expecting the loss of Jenn so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Jennifer forever. She was the sweetest/kindest/most loving soul and a joy to be around. She loved to laugh and go for rides. Jennifer had a beautiful smile, and she was ready to share it with you every day. She will be forever missed. Jennifer will always be remembered by Aunt Lizzie Mae ( Bucksport), three Brothers, Fred ( Missouri), Jason , Jack and one sister Tracy (all of Conway). She also leaves to mourn her passing, two Nieces, Tracia and Jasmyn and three nephews Kerwin, Quinten and Sterling, honorary sisters, Lvydean ( NY ) and Lena ( Bucksville ), and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to count.
“There are no goodbyes for us. You will always be in my heart.”
