Jerry Wayne Moody

Mr. Jerry Wayne Moody, son of Mrs. Jeanice Vereen Moody and the late Levi (Lee/Lebe) Mack Moody was born February 3, 1971 in Longs, South Carolina.

Jerry attended Horry County Schools and was a member of Freemont Missionary Baptist Church before his incapacitation. He was employed by Allan Little before his injury.

He departed this life on Friday, April 21, 2023, at his residence of the Angel Oak Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Socastee, South Carolina.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Levi (Lee/Lebe) Mack Moody; one brother, Levi Moody; one nephew, Levi Moody, Jr., and one niece, Itez Moody.

Jerry leaves to cherish his one and only child and daughter, Caresha Jimmeka Ladson; his loving mother, Jeanice Moody; two sisters: Rosa Moody Wilson and Arvel German (the late Stanley German); two brothers: James Moody and Anthony Moody; one sister-in-law, Veronica Thompson Frink (Lyndon); three nephews: Ricky Moody (Chaquita), Robert Moody, Lamond Ford; four nieces: Shakirha Davis, Kyesha Huggins, Laqueshia Moody and Kamille Moody; sixteen great nieces and three great nephews; four uncles: Jack Moody (Francis), Bobbie Joe Moody, Lenford Vereen, Ronnie Vereen (Merline); aunts: Rosa Lee Moody, Barbara Moody Hyman (Darren), Sally Mae Moody, Annie Miles, Nora Peral Knox (Gerald); one special cousin, Lenwood Vereen and a host of many relatives and friends.
