Mr. Joe Kenneth Jones

Joe Kenneth Jones, son of the late Heywood and Mary Jones, was born on June 27, 1956 in Conway, SC.  During his formative years, he attended Horry County Public Schools. He later moved to Greenville, SC, and was married to Regina L Stokes on February 13, 1983 until her death on December 3, 2018. He was a cook for over 40 years before he retired in 2019, and moved back to Conway. He loved showing off his coking skills and telling funny stories/jokes that would have you laughing until you were in tears 

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters: Katie Jones Willard and Jacquelyn Jones Smith; two brothers: Ernest C. Jones and George R. Jones. 

Left to cherish his precious memories are two daughters: Audrey "Trina" Griffin (Derrick) and Melissa "Tink" Parks (Nathan); one son, Reginald Stokes (Debra); one sister, Diann Jones Burns (Lawrence); two brothers: Raymond Jones (Faye) and Heyward Jones, Jr (Nora); eight grandchildren: Sierra, Briel, Alexis, Megan, Tremel, Jache, Jaazell and Ja'Leigh; one sister-in-law, Diane Smith Jordan (Willie); three brothers-in-law: Stanley Smith, William Smith and Michael Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, and a lifelong friend, Pete R. Anderson. 

The Family will begin receiving visitors, Friday, August 23 at from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at his residence (1655 9th Avenue Conway).
