Nathan Nathaniel Atkins

Mr. Nathan Nathaniel Atkins departed this life November 2, 2019 in Conway, South Carolina. Mr. Atkins was the son of the late Joe Atkins and the late Sudie Mae Davis. Mr. Atkins was raised by his grandmother, Rose Lee Davis. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Atkins. 

He graduated from Whittemore High School in 1968 and was very active in school and the community. Mr. Atkins served two years in the United States Army and 18 years in the United States Air Force. He returned home to Conway, SC after serving 20 years in the military. 

Mr. Atkins leaves fond memories to one grandson and four sisters: Loretta Atkins, Conway, SC, Rosalind Bolden (Payton) of Texas, Teresa Lawrence-Taylor (Allen) of Pennsylvania and Illa Dewitt (Raleigh) of Conway, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Funeral Services for Mr. Atkins will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Bethel A.M.E. Church, Conway, SC.
