Pastor Wayne Spain, son of the late James and Mary Hutchinson Spain, was born on April 23, 1958, in Conway, S.C. Wayne was educated in Horry County and later worked as a teacher's aide with Horry County Schools for 25 years.
Wayne was called into the ministry at age 19 and attended Benedict College. He was given his first Pastoral position with High Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He later founded Touching Lives
Saving Souls Ministries. Wayne also worked at McKiever Funeral Home as Chaplin for his lifelong friend George Williams.
On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Wayne joined his parents, his twin sister Wanda and brothers Carl, William and Roosevelt, home sweet home at last.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Mazie (Charles) Brown, Gloria Spain, six brothers, Sandor (Marilyn) Spain, David (Rosemay) Spain, Malcolm Spain, Teddy (Charlene) Spain, Douglas

Friday and her family adopted Wayne as a part of their family. Wayne had a host of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family and close relatives and friends that he loved dearly.
The Spain family will be receiving visitors at the residence of the late Reverend Wayne Spain, beginning Friday, July 18th from 4 pm - 8 pm nightly.
