Mrs. Snowrie Woodard was born October 22, 1936 in Chadburn, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Callie Johnson and Rev. Nero Augustus Bryant.
She attended the Horry County Public Schools and was a graduate of Horry Georgetown Technical College where she studied nursing. She was a successful nurse, florist and cook.
In 1971, she gave her life to God and became a member of True Light Holiness Church in Miami, Florida. In 1973, she returned to Conway, South Carolina from Miami, Florida. In 1997, God called her into ministry as a devoted Pastor of Way of Salvation Holiness Church in Conway, South Carolina.
She leaves to cherish her memories to a loving, devoted and caring husband of 54 years, Minister Albert James Woodard, two lovely children: Apostle Bernita Livingston of Longs, South Carolina and Kelvin Woodard of Ellenwood, Georgia; one child preceded her in death: Gloria (Jimmy) Johnson of Conway, South Carolina; one sister: Myrtle (deceased husband Bobbie) Pernell of Conway, South Carolina. Ten siblings preceded her in death: Lila Bryant, Eleanor (Cleveland) Morris, Earlene (Woodrow) Henry, Willie (Ana Mae) Bryant, Sam T.( Ora-Dean) Bryant, David Bryant, Leroy (Bessie) Bryant, James (Lular Mae) Bryant, G.B. (Mildred) Bryant, all of Conway, South Carolina, and Jimmy (Eliza) Bryant of Baltimore, Maryland; four brothers-in-law and four who preceded her in death; five sisters-in-law, thirty-four grand/great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
