Willie AKlin, Jr.

Willie Aklin Jr lovingly now as Cat was born April 1, 1954, to the union of Willie Aklin Sr. and Evelina Aklin Who preceded him in death, along with one sibling Arnetha Aklin. Willie Graduated from Choppee High School in 1972 then he went on to a career in construction with Jordan Construction Company for many years. Then transitioned to Healthcare Partners where he retired.    

Willie joined Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist church where he served as a Deacon, Trustee, Usher, and Brotherhood president.  As we remember him, remember his dedication, drive and commitment to God, his family and his community. 

After graduating high school, he was joined in matrimony to the love of his life Jannette Aklin on November 24, 1976.  To the union was born three children Latressa (Basil) Walker, Anntanette Aklin, and Willie (Natalee) Aklin.  He leaves to cherish his memory eleven grandchildren, one great grand, two sisters Patricia Sumpter and Mary (Thurmond) Sumpter, one brother Timothy (Ann) Aklin, seven sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
